About Job:
Our client is a widely recognized leader in their industry. They are actively enhancing their presence through the implementation of IFS. This major undertaking involves a comprehensive implementation of IFS and the client is further extending its utilization to additional locations, demonstrating their commitment to continuous expansion and improvement.
You will:
- Create and execute a detailed data migration plan to guarantee data is successfully transferred to the new system initially and in the long-term.
- Work with stakeholders to fully grasp how business data is used and its value, ensuring migration goals are well-defined and attainable.
- Thoroughly evaluate legacy system data structures to understand current state.
- Build comprehensive data mapping documents to enable smooth data migration.
- Lead efforts to cleanse and ready data for migration, verifying accuracy and completeness.
- Implement processes to transform legacy data so it integrates with IFS.
- Design and conduct exhaustive data migration testing to identify any issues.
- Pinpoint and fix data quality problems throughout migration.
- Explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical groups to promote data management knowledge and effective data migration best practices.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
