About Job:
This position will be responsible for working with the finance and accounting teams to help optimize/automate their business processes and environment. This position will be a mixture of project initiatives and support.
This growing manufacturer is implementing transformational changes to streamline operations and scale for the future. You will help develop their enterprise accounting function to scalable financial systems. This is a key role in shaping company-wide processes during an exciting phase of expansion and maturity.
You Will:
- Optimize and improve accounting/finance business processes.
- Be the internal SME (subject matter expert) for accounting; experience with corporate and cost accounting.
- Assist new implementation; requirements gathering; analysis; support.
- Configure and troubleshoot posting controls.
- Ensure compliance for JSOX in IFS.
- Provide end-user training as needed.
- This position will require travel, both international and domestic.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
You Bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience required.
- SME (subject matter expert) in Finance & Accounting.
- Finance proficiency (Cost Accounting/ AP/ AR/ GL/ Tax Ledgers…)
- Experience with IFS ERP implementation(s) and upgrade(s).
- Experience with end-user training.
