This position will be responsible for connecting business strategy to business requirements. This position will help create a global IFS solution for this organization by helping bridge the gap between strategy and execution of operational needs for manufacturing, warehouse, and machine shop.
Our client is a global manufacturing (engineer-to-order) company that specializes in machinery that’s sales has outpaced their capacity to produce so they will be upgrading and optimizing their IFS ERP system to accommodate the growth. There are years’ worth of optimization projects in the que.
You Will:
- Advise IFS ERP best practices to define business capability maps by aligning all business processes and all ERP functionality
- Analyze business processes as well as external environments and define all business needs
- Adapt existing business process framework that builds up the organizations business process architecture
- Act as both a business functional advisor and business architect around manufacturing, production, implementation, and new functionality
- Support multiple areas of business implementations for a multi-company, multicurrency, and multisite organization
- Optimize their IFS system
- Be the internal SME (subject matter expert) for Supply Chain; distribution; inventory replenishment; master scheduling; planning; purchase orders; engineering/ product data management, and warehousing
- This position will require travel, both international and domestic

You Bring:
- Required Work Authorization: Our client is not open to sponsorship
- Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems, Business Computer Systems, Computer Science, or International Business
- Preferred experience in one or more areas of IFS application modules (i.e. Manufacturing/ Supply Chain/ Distribution/ Finance/ HR/ Maintenance/ Quality/ Projects/ Logistics/ Engineering/ CRM)
- 4+ years experience implementing and supporting IFS ERP
- 7+ years of relevant IFS ERP experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or other related disciplines
