Job Overview

Junior Software Engineers will help establish information systems by studying operations, designing, developing, and installing software solutions. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design software solutions to meet all client’s requirements.
• Develop and provide software components that operate as part of a large multi-process system.
• Integrated software environment to verify behavior and resilience.
• Perform functional testing of the system on a full installation that replicates real-world use.
• Provide documentation and overall support to partners, solving any software issue that may arise during operation.
• Apply technical expertise to investigate and resolve customer software issues.
• Work independently and in close collaboration with the senior software team members.
• Understands IFS Architecture.
• Familiar with WIA code quality standards.
• Familiar with WIA software development process and methodologies (JIRA/Bitbucket/Confluence)
• Learn and practice IFS development tools and technologies.
• Tools: Developer Studio, Report Designer, etc.
• Technologies: Oracle Pl/SQL, SQL, Java, IFS Reports, IFS Lobbies, IFS Configurations, etc. 
• Learn to take ownership of the work, deliver on time, and maintain good quality.
• Ability to review, understand, learn from, and make improvement suggestions on code.
• Test, debug, review and maintain IFS software solutions by qualifying, locating, and resolving software flaws.
  

Education level:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar experience

Specific skills:

• Knowledge of basic coding languages like Java, C#, etc.
• Familiarity with SQL or relational databases
• Knowledge of RESTful web services
