The candidate will be able to advise on the effectiveness of an organisation’s procedures, systems and methods and perform other business activities, specifically on engineering applications and software packages, and advice on the integration of third-party applications with existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications of our customers. 


Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £33,000.00 - £36,000.00 per year

Job Location: UK based- Hybrid working with travel to the Reading office



Qualifications


  • The minimum requirement is a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Information Technology/ business systems or equivalent qualifications.
  • Ability to write clear, concise work instructions, technical notes, and user instructions.
  • Capacity to provide support directly to end-users or customers without constant supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and trustworthiness.
  • Working knowledge in applications such as CAD/ SolidWorks/PLM and understand IFS ERP System integration workflows would be a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Study business systems or application-related process optimizations, advise the technical team or troubleshoot problem areas, and assess its interrelationships with other functional activities.
  • Act as the subject matter expert to develop, support, and maintain the IFS ERP systems integrations with engineering applications.
  • Analyse work methods and procedures by measuring work involved and computing standard times for specified activities and produce reports detailing suggestions for increasing efficiency and lowering costs when integrating new applications with existing ERP systems including legacy systems. 
  • Attend requirement gathering sessions and work with the solution & technical architects’ team to analyse project components, organises them into a logical sequence, and establish the minimum time required for the task/ project.
  • Advise procurement team on software purchases services; processes support contracts and deal with contractual arrangements related to business applications and integration support on the relevant products.
  • Support technical and finance teams on pricing strategy and ability to support customers on the specific statement of work (SOWs) and ensure receiving payments from clients.
  • Assisting with managing 3rd party service providers and key contact points with channel partners for application licensing issues.
  • Support company leadership with ongoing business change program.
  • Mentor end-users as and when required.
